In-House Lawyers' Group

The In-House Lawyers' Group (ILG) represents and promotes the interests and status of Scottish solicitors employed in central or local government, industry or commerce, procurator fiscal service, court administration and other public bodies.

The Group's objectives are to: develop and encourage better training of solicitors: strengthen relationships between private practice solicitors and in-house lawyers: comment on proposed legislation.

We have close links with a number of organisations including The Society of Local Authority Lawyers and Administrators in Scotland (SOLAR) and The Scottish Young Lawyers Association (SYLA).
