The Lord Advocate held the Pro Bono Conference in Edinburgh on 14th May 2010. A successful event, an article by the Lord Advocate before the event encouraged solicitors to undertake pro bono. A report on the event is also available.
Access to Justice Conference 2010
An Access to Justice event was held by the Law Society in Edinburgh on 15th February. Attendees ranged from members of the profession to the Scottish Government and Scottish Legal Aid Board to law centres and voluntary organisations.
