Criminal Quality Assurance
The Society and SLAB have worked together on the development of a quality assurance scheme for criminal work. The intention is to model the criminal scheme on the Civil Quality Assurance system.
The draft criteria (for peer reviewers) for marking files in solemn, summary and appeals cases have been drafted and they are due to be considered and signed off in due course. Arrangements for the recruitment of peer reviewers will also be developed.
