Rules and Guidance - Introduction
Welcome to the Society's rules and guidance section. The Professional Support Department has a Protocol which explains how enquiries will be dealt with.
There are 3 basic ways in which you can search for information and guidance.
For example, "I think there might be a rule about acting for partners of the firm in their own mortgages?".
(1) Using our alphabetical topic indexes. Choose "Topics S - Z" . Choose "secured loans" which will take you to the relevant guidance re Rule 22 of the Accounts Rules.
(2) Type "security by partner" into the search engine in the top right-hand corner of any page. Choose the appropriate item from the list of hits.
(3) Take a look at our frequently asked questions (FAQs).
