Pensions Law Sub-Committee

In October 2007, the DWP published a consultation entitled "Flexible Retirement and Pensions Provision". After responses were received, the Government published its latest paper, in December 2008 which sought views on introducing either a general exemption from flexible retirement arrangements or a narrower exemption for schemes to cease providing death in service benefits during a flexible retirement arrangement.
