Work Experience programme at the Law Society of
Scotland
The Law Society of Scotland offers eight work experience places
each year. These placements provide a valuable opportunity for
pupils/students to find out more about working life and can help
them when considering career options.
There will be two placements available in the months of
February, June, August and October. The structured work experience
programme is based in our office in Edinburgh and will last for one
week, Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
The closing dates for these placements are shown below:
- February & June programmes - closing date noon Friday 30
December
- August & October programmes - closing date noon Friday 29
June
All interested candidates must complete the Law Society
application form and return it to Human Resources, The Law Society
of Scotland, 26 Drumsheugh Gardens, Edinburgh, EH3 7YR.
On receipt of your application the Society will acknowledge this
by either email or letter.
Please note if successful the candidate will be notified within
14 days of either closing date with their programme dates and the
time they should arrive on their first day.
