This section of the website aims to provide a summary of the Society’s position on equality and diversity. The listed topics should give you short introductions to key issues and definitions the Society has adopted within this area of work.

NEWS: PROFILE OF THE PROFESSION FINDINGS + FREE CPD- The outcomes of the Society’s first monitoring exercise – analysing the composition of the profession by sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, age and religion/belief the study also looks at experiences of discrimination.  The findings have been turned into a 'webcast' allowing you to quickly gain an overview of the issues, and claim CPD click here for more details.

NEWS: SECOND ANNUAL REPORT ON EQUALITY-PUBLISHED - The Society's second Annual Report on Equality and Diversity (including reporting on our Race, Disability and Gender Equality Schemes) is now available - click here.
