NEWS: MAJOR DISABILITY INVOLVEMENT PROJECT LAUNCHED - The Society is working with other justice sector bodies to better understand the experiences of disabled people.  To find out more click here.

NEWS: NEW STRATEGY LAUNCHED (2008 to 2011) - The Society has launched its new Equality and Diversity Strategy, which includes our race, gender and disability schemes.  To find out more click here.

NEWS: RESULTS OF LATEST INVOLVEMENT WORK NOW AVAILABLE (Nov 08) – the Society has been consulting stakeholders, solicitors, and staff on its equality work. Find out more by clicking here.

NEWS: PROFILE OF THE PROFESSION FINDINGS + FREE CPD- The outcomes of the Society’s first monitoring exercise – analysing the composition of the profession by sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, age and religion/belief the study also looks at experiences of discrimination.  The findings have been turned into a 'webcast' allowing you to quickly gain an overview of the issues, and claim CPD click here for more details.
