Consultations

lawreformOne of the main functions of the law reform team - staff and committees - is to analyse and respond to proposed changes in the law. Part of this process involves commenting on consultations from the Scottish Government, Scottish Parliament, UK Parliament, Scottish Law Commission and elsewhere.

In this section you will find our consultation responses for the past four years. Under each year, the responses are listed by area of law.

Current Scottish Parliament Bills being considered

Current Westminster Parliament Bills being considered

Listed below are the main consultations our committees are currently considering. We encourage our members to respond to consultations and would encourage members to email us a copy of any response submitted via email to lawreform@lawscot.org.uk
