Scottish Government consultation: changing Scotland's relationship with alcohol

This consultation paper looks at how best to tackle alcohol misuse and seeks views on a range of suggestions for ways to address the problem, including raising the minimum purchase age to 21 and introducing minimum retail pricing of alcohol.

Gambling Commission consultation on split premises and primary gambling activity

This consultation paper proposes revisions to the Guidance to Licensing Authorities (2nd edition) that is published by the Commission and which licensing authorities are required to "have regard to". There are also proposals to add operating licence conditions to licence conditions and codes of practice.
