The Commission on a Bill of Rights is an independent Commission
set up by the UK Government to investigate the possibility of
creating a UK Bill of Rights, building on and incorporating our
rights under ECHR.

Inquiry into reform of Parliamentary business: remodeling the
Parliamentary week
The Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments
Committee has launched and inquiry into the reform of the
parliamentary week. It will consider how the parliamentary
week can best be organised to allow the Parliament to be effective
in its key roles of scrutiny and debate.
The Government has published comprehensive proposals for a
smaller, reformed House of Lords. The proposals contained in the
draft House of the Lords Reform Bill and accompanying White Paper,
set out in detail options for how a reformed House could look.
Devolution issues and acts of the Lord Advocate - consultation
on clauses
This consultation published by the Advocate General for Scotland
sought comments on draft clauses for inclusion in the Scotland Bill
currently before Parliament. The clauses have been prepared to
implement the conclusions of the Expert Group.
