Changes to the traineeship
Commencement of PEAT 2 - 1 September 2011
The changes to the traineeship which have been developed
over the last two years came into force on 1 September 2011.
All traineeships commencing on or after that date will follow
the new "PEAT" 2 (Professional Education and Training)
requirements. The PEAT 2 Training Plan is available
here.
As part of the PEAT 2 requirements, all trainees are
reuired to complete a PEAT 2 Record, using an online tool for
trainees on the Law Society of Scotland's website. Trainees will
use the PEAT 2 record to track progress, log Trainee Continuing
Professional Development (TCPD) activities and upload PEAT 2
Quarterly Performance Reviews.
