ABOUT THIS COURSE
What's the trick to getting out?
What do you need to think about?
How do you keep your practice running without shutting up shop?
Practical issues, regulatory issues, succession...

This interactive half day course has been designed to help you work your way into a position so that you can retire knowing all the little details are taken care of. Without some form of planning, you may not only fail to maximise the value of your business, but you may also be left with unplanned liabilities. There will be opportunities for networking and discussions in workshops and together we'll look at:

  • Planning ahead for younger solicitors
  • Working out who carries on
  • Managing and closing off liabilities
  • Negotiating a sale
  • Closing down a practice vs continuing the practice
  • Different exit strategies
