Practice Management Course

The Practice Management Course is a compulsory course which new principals require to attend within 12 months of their date of assumption.

What does the course cover?

The course covers regulatory aspects such as accounts rules, money laundering, partnership accounts and self assessment, client relations, Master Policy and management issues such as people management, ethics and risk management.

The course duration is a day and a half - all day Friday and Saturday morning and is held twice a year – beginning of June and beginning of November.

How do I register for the course?

Invitations are automatically issued to new partners who require to attend the course. The invitations for the June course are issued at the beginning of March and the invitations for the November course are issued at the beginning of September.

Invitations are automatically generated through the Society’s roll database. An invitation will only be generated if you have advised the Records Office that you have been assumed as a partner or are setting up your own firm.

The dates for the next course are the 5th and 6th of June 2009.
